CM Amjad Hussain Chairs High-Level Meeting to Improve Internet Services in Gilgit-Baltistan

An important meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, Amjad Hussain, to review internet connectivity issues and discuss ways to improve the region’s digital infrastructure.
The meeting focused on addressing ongoing challenges in internet and telecommunication services while exploring long-term solutions to provide reliable connectivity for residents across Gilgit-Baltistan.
PTA Briefs Government on Ongoing Projects
PTA Chairman Major General (R) Hafeez-ur-Rehman briefed the Chief Minister on ongoing and planned efforts to improve internet and telecom services in GB
He said several projects are underway to improve network coverage and provide more reliable internet across the region.
Commitment to Long-Term Solutions
The PTA Chairman reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to working closely with the Gilgit-Baltistan government. He assured the Chief Minister of the PTA’s full cooperation in resolving the region’s connectivity challenges.
He also announced that a detailed follow-up meeting will soon be held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. The session will bring together all relevant departments to develop practical, sustainable, and effective solutions to the existing internet-related issues.
